Literatura irlandesa De la abundante literatura irlandesa medieval, recogida casi toda en cuatro importantes códices (1150-1550), destacan las historias en torno a los personajes históricos-legendarios de Conchobar y Cuchullain (ciclo de Ulster) y de Finn y Ossian (ciclo heroico de Leinster-Munster); en prosa y verso. Al bardo guerrero Finn se le atribuyen algunas hermosas poesías populares en torno a la naturaleza.
